A/N: When I imagined myself publishing my first DW fic, it wasn't in poem form :P But my teacher wanted a poem about a crazy dream, and I tried to make myself enjoy the horrors of poetry (*shudder*) through one of my favorite fandoms :) Hopefully she doesn't recognize it...

Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who, or Shel Siverstein's "Crazy Dream."

"The Blue Box"

(Modeled from Shel Silverstein and Oded to "Doctor Who")

Last night I had a crazy dream
That I met a doctor.
Full of time and space and travel,
He was off his rocker.

Electric hair and a red bow-tie,
Chatting about a fez.
'til we were in a strange blue box,
Inside 'twas more cosmic than the rest

We went outside the galaxy
New planets of Gallifrey and Ood.
Then back to Earth to save its future
From gas-masked aliens and humans left to brood.

I asked the Doctor (as he was named)
If he'd teach me physics.
He laughed and answered cheerily,
"Eternity'll pass until it clicks!"

We came back to the right time and place,
I not ready to forsake.
He took off again in that blue box
And I woke with day break.

A/N: I honestly don't expect to get many reviews for this; it's just a random little bit that I didn't plan on publishing until I decided hey – I finished my homework and uploaded a new story! Two fer one! Whoot.

Told ya I was catching up, iz. (She currently has more stories than me. But I'm being productive. Hah.)

Thanks for reading, anyhow. Ta.
