A/N: i actually wrote this before the Boruto movie, where they interacted for .2 seconds, but this might as well be canon
"Hyuuga."
"Uchiha-san! What are you doing?!"
Hinata was beginning to panic. The ground was shaking violently and birds were falling out of the sky.
"Our lack of interaction is ridiculous. Shit, I wasn't even able to go to the dobe's wedding!"
"Stop this, you know why we can't! It's too dangerous!"
Civilians were screaming and running out of trembling buildings. The world was closing in on itself and the sky was warping and it was all because-
"We aren't supposed to interact! Sasuke, please! You have to stop!" She was getting desperate; gravity was starting to fail as the Earth condensed, smaller and smaller.
With a bitter heart, he turned away and left her standing amidst the wreckage. The universe righted itself the further he was away from her.
She was right.
It was better this way, better for the fate of mankind.
Gradually, the tremors in the earth ceased and all of the chaos was undone.
Maybe in another lifetime he would be allowed to acknowledge her existence… But not now.
