The Lord's Accompaniment
The beings that accompany Lord Sesshomaru are far from what a person would expect. Sesshomaru himself is a well-known and powerful demon, making him very influential and of high standing. Many demons respect and fear him so coming across his traveling group would cause one to tilt their head like an idiot and question if it was some kind of joke. (Or if maybe they drank too much Cactus Juice from that last adventure.)
Among his lordship (or Fluffy-ness if you're a die-heart Fluff-lover like me) is an inferior water imp, a two-headed creature, and a young human girl. The girl, Rin, is an unusual companion to be around Sesshomaru for his hatred of humans. His reasons are unknown for keeping her other than the fact she was a test of Tensaiga's resurrecting powers. Perhaps he's waiting to see if it's power is permanent or temporary? Anyway, Rin herself is the definition of a child; curious and energetic but she's completely obedient to the demon Lord and in some form worships him and being around him. The water imp, Jaken, also admires Sesshomaru but for the his great power. Because of Jaken's obnoxiously loud mouth, he is often the receiving end of rocks thrown by the demon Lord to cease his constant complaining (that is mostly about Rin). Ah-Un, the two headed creature, is a form of transportation for the young girl so not to tire her out when traveling long distances.
On to the present, this odd group has been traveling for a while and is not quite sure of Lord Sesshomaru's plan or his destination but up until now has gone without a complaint. However, leave it up to Jaken to open his ever complaining mouth.
"Lord Sesshomaru?" piped Jaken. Per usual, silence fallowed as a response.
"Where are we going me-Lord?" he squeaked again. Once again, silence from the demon Lord.
"I wonder if he even HAS a plan!" thought Jaken. "It seems as though Lord Sesshomaru just likes to make us walk for long distances for his own enjoyment! Brutal, heartless dog! He probably likes to watch us agonize over our aching feet!"
Jaken realized too late that the last sentence escaped from his mouth because a palm-sized rock made a perfect mark on his forehead.
"Your not very nice Master Jaken." said Rin as she pasted by on Ah-Uh. Jaken came-to a few minutes later to realize they had left him behind.
"WAIT FOR ME!" screamed Jaken as he ran as fast as his little legs would carry him back to the distant group.
A/N: Okay, I for now it's more of a speculation than a fanfic but I couldn't think of anything good so I thought I do a kind of prologue. I'll add on to it later once I get some ideas. But if your reading this than hopefully you read it and am not a total failure! :D Thanks for reading what I have so far!
