Hey guys! It's me again. Hope you enjoy my story!

It is a quiet night. The wind is blowing strongly and the leaves crunches under his feet as he shifts uneasily. I stand there facing him, the wind blowing my hair all over the place, covering my fear-clouded eyes. Finally, I break the uncomfortable silence between us.

"Why did you bring me here? What's happening?" He looks up from his feet. His expression is pained and his eyes are black.

"Edward," I beg. Finally, his eyes land on me. His expression contorts in sadness but, still he says nothing. The only sounds that could be heard are the sounds of the nocturnal animals and the occasional hooting of owls. I don't know how long I stand there, it feels like an eternity. Suddenly, I hear him speak and my head snaps up. His eyes are the color of the abyss.

"Bella, we're leaving." As those words are spoken, my heart stops beating and I suddenly forget how to breath.

"But why?" I manage to gasp. Edward just shakes his head and looks forlornly at me.

"It's for the best."

The last string snaps and I break down, "You promised! In Phoenix you promised you would stay-"

"As long as it was best for you," he corrects.

"I don't care!" I shout at him shaking my head vigorously. For a minute, the world goes on a stand still. I no longer hear the wind howling or the owls hooting alarmingly. It's just me and him. I back away, my fist in my mouth to stop me from screaming. Tears are streaming down my cheeks and I know I must look horrible. Edward doesn't seem to notice anything although I noticed a flicker of concern pass his face.

"When are you leaving?" I cry. He looks at me mournfully.

"They've already left. I just came by to say good-bye." Suddenly, it hits me.

"They?" I ask through a film of tears. He looks back at me pitifully.

"Alice will be leaving too?" My voice is barely a whisper and the world starts to spin.

"I'm sorry," were the last words he spoke to me before he disappears into the shadows.
