Dreams Without Wings
1. Light in the Sky
The lights in the sky danced behind his eyes,
behind his tears.
His sky…
the sky that was so cruelly beckoning him,
knowing he couldn't fly.
So cruel…
but he couldn't grow wings and prove it wrong;
he could only watch
that dream slip through his fingers once more
And the gate, that had opened up after all this years
disappearing in to the clouds in the sky.
