Hey all sorry it took so long to add another story. Been sitting on this one for awhile and decided to finally post it. Originally I was going to have it part of a larger story but I Preferred it as a standalone. As always don't own them (so don't get me started), review PLEASE and best wishes. Enjoy.
They all stood around the corral looking at the new horses. "All I have to do is get that horse to come to me and nothing else?" Vin asked Ezra again.
"Exactly that brown and white horse just has to come up to you."
Vin looked at Chris for confirmation, Chris just shrugged not daring to look at his friend in the eye.
Thanks cowboy. Chris grinned.
"But Ezra. Not even Yosemite can get that thing near him." JD exclaimed Chris snorted, Vin gave him a dirty look.
"How much?"
"Fifty dollars Mr. Tanner." Ezra said with a grin. "You can always make payments."
Vin nodded. "You're on."
Vin ducked under the railing and walked over a few steps from Ezra and the others quickly followed. He leaned against the railing. "He just has to walk up to me and nothing else."
"Nothing else."
Vin nodded and let out an ear piercing whistle. The horse's head came up and his ears pricked. Vin let out a couple short whistles and he came trotting up and nudging him in the shoulder. Out of his pocket he pulled a piece of candy and fed it to the horse who took off after that. He turned a grinning face to Ezra who stood opened mouthed. Chris let out a loud laugh soon followed by the others.
"How? You? You knew the whole time?" Ezra sputtered, Chris only could manage a nod.
"Sure he did he's seen me do it before. I let Peso out when they brought them in. I whistle like that when I got him a treat. That one started following and pretty soon he let me touch him. Heck I can even ride him. Don't worry Ezra." Vin said coming to the other side of the fence patting the stunned man's shoulder. "You can always make payments."
