I need Ideas! For any of my stories! :D

Age Brackets for Mello, Matt, and Near. (for some odd reason I like young age brackets for them. Xb)

ADOPTION

It was near 1:00 in the morning as you heard light foot steps of a small boy. His name was Mail Jeevas. But goes by the name 'Matt'. He was carrying a small bowl that had steam gently rising from the alphebet soup inside. His ruby red hair was bouncing up and down as he trotted down the halls to find a certain sick boys room.

He finally reached the huge doors that led to a small bedroom. He fixed his orange tinted goggles so they were on straight on his forhead. He pushed open a smaller door that was unseen unless you really examined it. Matt and his two, as he calls, 'aqquintances', carved a smaller rectangle out of the door since it took all three of them, plus some other kid, just to open it a quarter of the way.

He walked in with a warm smile to cheer up the small child lying on the floor with a thermometer hanging out of his mouth and flushed cheeks. He went up to the blond child and sat cross legged on the rug.

"Hey Mello." Matt said with a soft voice. Luckily they didn't have to take classes till' they're 10 and wouldn't have to take Mello in his condition. "How ya' feeling?" Matt asked trying to start up a conversation while taking out the red-filled thermometer.

"What do you think?" Mello said weakly while scowling.

Matt started to feed him the alphebet soup as he heard the 'mini' door open. He didn't bother to turn around though. He was to occupied feeding Mello the soup. Matt would do anything to have his best friend nurtured back to health.

As the shadow grew closer, you could tell it was a little, white haired child. His name was Nate Rivers, but went with the name 'Near'. He was holding a stuffed bunny that had a patch on its foot. It was originally L's.

But the night he came to orphanage he was acting very emotional. He was in a corner, not socializing with anyone, as usual. L gave a discouraged look as he went up to the attic and went into a certain dusty trunk and pulled out a feather stuffed bunny. He brushed it off a bit and headed back where the unbreakable silenced child sat. He crouched down in his regular sitting position and offered the bunny to Near. Unfortunatly, the boy just looked at the stuffed animal and looked back at the scratched up floor. But, L wasen't going to take "no" for an answer. Instead of offering the bunny, he picked up the young boy. L didn't expect Near to be so light so he stumbled back a bit.

Near didn't struggle rather tightened his grip into a hug. L predicted it was like how his mother used to hold him. He could feel slight twiches and jumps from Near as warm tears landed onto his cream colored shirt. After L put him to bed he accepted the rabbit for he was only 3 and thought that was his rightful parent. And ever since then he has carried that rabbit around.

Near sat on the oppisite side of Mello in his regular position and offered the rabbit. It still smelt like L from the first night he got it and knew that Mello liked L as much or even more than him.

Mello grabbed the stuffed toy knowing that the young albino wouldn't give up.

Mello refused everything after about eating half of the soup. So Matt gave Mello medicine or 'tried' to. After that, Matt and Near layed on either side of Mello and soon fell asleep, dreaming about one day getting adopted to a lovely family.

YES, L and Light both are going to show up in the story in chapter 2 or 3. :b
