How to be Royal

1. In the TV show, the character Fauna Lusht does not exist. I have made her up.
2. This story is subject to editing.
3. If you've seen Winx Club Season 3 Episode 12, you will know that Flora has a younger sister named Miele (Rose in the 4Kids version). In this story, she does not exist.
Chapter 1: An introduction to Fauna Lusht.

Her Royal Highness, Queen Fauna Lusht of Linphea stood in front of her mirror looking at her reflection.
Her dark brown hair was gathered on top of her head in an elegant bun. It looked very attractive. However, Fauna's best physical quality was her large emerald-green eyes.
Fauna shifted her gaze to her gown. The gown matched Fauna's eyes and this made her look stunning. The silky material cascaded past her ankles and continued on down to reach the floor. She admired her gown for another minute and then gracefully made her way to the door of her room to answer the impatient knocks that she could hear.
"Yes?" Fauna said, as she opened the door to see Lilly, her personal maid standing there.
"Your Imperial Majesty, all the guests have arrived."
Fauna smiled. Tonight's Royal Ball was about to begin.
"Please inform our guests that I shall be with them in a moment," Fauna said to Lilly.
"Yes Your Majesty," said Lilly, scurrying away.
Fauna gave herself a last look before exiting her bedchamber. She took her time walking down the corridor, looking at all the beautiful paintings. However, one painting caught her eye.
The painting was simple. It was a large green tree. Within this tree was another tree. Fauna's family tree.
Fauna's eyes scanned it. She noted the little d's for deceased next to her mother's, father's and sister's names. And then she looked at the names of her sister's daughter. Flora. Alive, but unaware of her relation to Fauna. Fauna thought about her. She hadn't met her many times, with respect to her sister's wishes.
Fauna closed her eyes, and the flashback started.
A later note: This was a very short chapter. The next one will be much longer. Please note that it might take me some time to put up each chapter as I need to write it, edit it, type it up and then publish it. With school, homework, friends and all that stuff, this may take a while.
