Hey there! This is my first 2DxNoodle fic! Sorry if it's not too great. Some R&R would be greatly appreciated!

Cyborg had me down on the ground, the shotgun holes in her head sparking, a horrible smile on her metal face. Her metallic nails run down my face, cutting through my skin and leaving trails of blood. I kick and trash around, slamming my fists into the side of her head. Her head creaks and rolls back and forth on her shoulders, before she brings her head slamming down against mine, digging her nails into the side of my head. Finally, I shove her heavy metal body off of me and stumble upwards. She slams to the ground, creaking and shaking. Behind her, I see the others. Russel, 2D, and Murdoc. Lying in a heap on top of each other. Sockets stare back at me. I trip and fall into their pool of blood. I turn back and face Cyborg, lying motionless on the floor, her horrible, twisted smile frozen on her face.

"Noodle!" a familiar Cockney accent cries.

My eyes open.

I'm lying on my bed, my sheets kicked to the floor. A layer of cold sweat covers me, and my face stings horribly. My nails are caked with blood, and one of them is squeezing 2D's hand.

"Aw, Jesus, Noodle," he mutters, pulling me out of my bed and scooping me up.

"I can walk," I protest sleepily, shaking in his arms. 2D doesn't answer, just takes me into the bathroom and flips the light on. I face the mirror.

I had clawed my skin open. Not Cyborg. The cuts sting from the salt in my tears. I had been crying. My eyes were puffy, and my cheeks were stained pink from tears. Funny, I don't remember crying. My right eye is bruised; did I hit it against my headboard in my sleep?

2D comes over to me with a washcloth full of warm water and dabs it against my cuts. I hiss. The water makes it sting even more. He quickly pulls it back. "No, it's fine." He slowly presses it against my face again. It stings, but the salt in my cuts sting more, and I need to get it out. I reach up and touch my right eye.

I shakily turn toward the sink and scrub at my bloodied nails with soap and warm water. My legs are shaking so bad. 2D pulls me onto his lap. "It was Cyborg. She killed you and Murdoc and Russel. She was going to kill me." 2D shushes me and presses a finger to my lips. He dabs at my cuts with ointment and presses bandages against them. "It was the scariest one so far." He shakes his head.

"Don' talk, luv," he says, placing another bandage on my face.

We sit silently, 2D carefully bandaging my cuts, me trying to get the images of Cyborg out of my head. I know I destroyed her years ago, and that Murdoc wouldn't make the mistake of building another one, but her face still haunts me.

My face. On a monster.

"It's terrifying when you guys die. Those nightmares are the worst. I'd die again if it meant saving you three." 2D looks up at me with his hollow vibes. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him, resting his head on my shoulder.

"Don' say tha'."

"But-."

"Don' say tha'." I rest my head against his, letting him hold me on his lap. "Losin' yew was th' worse thing tha' ever 'appened." I shake my head.

"No," I say quietly. "I don't know how I went on without you three. I was so relieved when I found Russel safe." I wrap my arms around his neck and lean back. He looks up at me with his hollow voids. "And I was even more relieved when I found you and Murdoc." He smiles at me, then scoops me back up into his arms, carrying me into his room. He sits down on his bed and pulls me on top of him. I curl up against him, my head resting on his chest, pulling the sheets up to my chin. He kisses me on the head softly.

"Try an' go back ta sleep." I nod my head slowly.

I drift off, curled up in 2D's arms.
