Touched By DSA Reload of a old fictlet. A short, bittersweet fict about Heero and Duo's strange mutual relationship together- which exists even though Duo hates being touched.

It wasn't something he told anyone. He did not like being touched. At all. When anyone in the street brushed against him, he would tense for the briefest of seconds, before continuing on. It was an automatic reaction. No one noticed it though. He hoped. He'd be damned if they did. It was funny, being a killer who was afraid of people. Laughable in fact. It was almost ironic. He, the most touching of them all, hated contact.

But he never showed it. He would wrap his arms around a friend without a touch, but when they returned the embrace, something in him would freeze, and Duo would soon move away. Abide, without them knowing that he hated their warmness. That he hated their trapping embraces.

He touched Heero the most, in free thoughtless hugs and other intimate gestures. It was partially because Heero was did not mind it, or did not care about it. But it was mostly was because Heero never touched back, or even made a shallow attempt to. He could have warmth, without the fear. They looked like a couple, but they were not. They weren't even lovers.

He went down on Heero only once. He had tasted the wet satisfaction of his comrade briefly in war. Safe from prying eyes in the cock pit of his machine, with the other's pants around his ankles, Duo had tested Heero. Duo had licked, sucked and blew Heero with all his hard learnt skills. He took- forced Heero to the limit and unwillingly, Heero had exploded in his mouth. But it all ended there. Heero had pushed him away immediately afterwards and told him to stop being an idiot. They never spoke about the incident again. Heero had pasted his test with a perfect score.

So Duo hung on Heero. Heero did not need him, but he allowed him to. For that Duo was grateful. He needed free warmth. Warmth without hassles. Or pain. When the time came, Heero would leave him. He knew this. He had a knife stashed away in his bedroom for that time. He wasn't afraid to use it. He was just afraid not to use it. But only when the time came. What puzzled him was the fact that it had not came yet. And why Heero made no moves to herald it.
