The TARDIS was in flight, The Doctor had been flicking switches and dancing around his companions Amy Pond and Rory Williams.
"Wonderful planet, you never stop to think about it, I've never met the locals though, I'm sure they're nice, right then off we go!" he rambled pulling a final lever, Amy and Rory just rolled their eyes. Finally the TARDIS had landed, The Doctor walked out first, followed by Amy and then lastly Rory. The Doctor was already trudging ahead, heading for what looked like temple ruins, and he had his eye on one particular thing. A box with writing that looked ancient on it, when The Ponds finally caught up, The Doctor read out what was written on the box for them to hear.
"Prophecy, It is said that on the night of the dark moon, a mortal with come to our world, a mortal girl with one heart, and she will help, help make our God rise!" The Doctor read looking at Rory.
"Rory, has it occurred to you that your wife is missing?" he asked Rory, and sure enough Amy was gone. Rory caught a glimpse of her getting carried away by strange bear like creatures.
"Amy!" Rory shouted as he could hear Amy struggling and shouting to be let go, Rory followed the creatures slowly with The Doctor close behind. They had finally got to the strange bear creatures lair and they tied Amy up to a long wooden stick. One of the bear creatures came over to Amy, with a needle in his hand. Without warning he plunged the syringe into Amy's arm, making her scream in agonising pain. They took a blood sample and then put the blood into a large pot at the podium they had. It was like a potion, Amy could of sworn she saw a bubble float up from it. They brought the pot over to a huge hole in the ground and poured the contents down. They then came over to Amy and untied her, pushing her towards the hole, it was around 100 ft deep, maybe more. But before Amy could even have her toes dangling over the edge, Rory ran out, trying to defend his wife. But it didn't work, they pushed her and she fell, she held on for dear life on the edge of the hole, until Rory came over and took her hand, Rory was very sweaty and Amy couldn't really hold on.
"Don't let go" he told her husband.
"Never" he promised firmly, but as he was trying to pull her up she lost her grip and was falling. But it was to late to catch her. She was gone.
"Amy! No!" Rory shouted, tears were forming in his eyes as his arm was outstretched down the hole. The Doctor had walked over to Rory timidly and didn't really know what to say to his friend.
"Rory, I-" The Doctor started.
"No! I don't want to hear it! This is your fault! It's your fault she's gone!" Rory shouted at The Doctor as he stormed off back to the TARDIS. The Doctor slowly followed his friend and went inside the TARDIS to find Rory on the sofa, crying his eyes out. The Doctor hated seeing him like this, so he went over to his human friend and put his arm around him.
"It's going to be okay" The Doctor reassured.
