A big thanks to rosenlilies for the idea for this story=======================================================================================================================
Tomorrow was his wedding day. He was happy wasn't he? He loved Astoria didn't he? As he looked at the reflection of himself in his the wedding tux his dad had recently purchased for him his mind drifted to Hermione. She had married Weasley a few years ago. And to his surprise he had been invited to the wedding. After a week of contemplating whether or not he should attend he decided against it, he assumed it would be too heartbreaking to watch the women he loved marry another. They now had two children, Rose and Hugo, and surprise! They were both shared the same unruly red hair as their father.
"Draco, may I come in?" his fiancé softly asked from the door, knocking him out of his trance. "yes darling" he replied, replacing the look of sorrow on his face with a smile. She entered, wearing a stunning olive green sundress, the only person that could of looked better in it was his Hermione. "we need to talk" Astoria looked down, playing with the diamond engagement ring on her finger. "about what?" "I'm starting to get the feeling you don't love me much anymore, you don't kiss me the way you used to, or look at me the way you used to. We never make love anymore, not even on the night you purposed to me" "I mean who does that!" she exclaimed, her voice rising with anger. "I don't know what you mean dear, I love you more than anyone, I never stopped looking or kissing you the way I used to, you must have simply stopped noticing." "That still doesn't explain why you never make love to me anymore!" she almost yelled, he could tell she was getting frustrated and if she didn't marry him tomorrow he knew his family would think of him as a failure, so he knew he had to be careful about what he let out of his mouth.
"I'm dearly sorry about that, work has been so stressful lately and I've barely had time to eat let alone have time to shag, if it really means that much to you I could take off work for a week or so", he closed the distance between them, picking up her hands and holding them between them, he noticed her brown eyes softening, "and we could go up to the cabin my dad bought, and we could shag until we simply no longer can" she laughed and lightly hit his chest. "that sound wonderful" "I can't wait" he responded. She gave him a small smile and walked out of their room.
He began to panic the next morning, he couldn't marry her, he didn't love her. He loved his beautiful, brave, smart Hermione. He would rather never marry than marry anybody but her. But as he changed into his tux once more he knew he had to go through with it. He couldn't make it obvious he loved another women.
He stood at the alter as he heard a series of awes as his wife to be walked down the aisle in a white gown that he honestly thought was too big and puffy. This was supposed to be the happiest day of his life but all he could think of was Hermione walking down that aisle, and Hermione wearing a dress that wasn't too puffy or big, a dress that was perfect. He could imagine himself forgetting how to breath, forgetting how to do anything but attempt to take in all her beauty. Before he could daydream about kissing the women he loved Astoria had reached the alter and the priest had started the ritual. Still lost in his own world of Hermione he hadn't realized he had said the wrong name until he felt a hand slap him across the face.
If you liked the story or thought there was something I could have done better please leave me a review! If you have ideas for other fanfics you know what to do XD
