Parking Lessons

"I made it very clear I don't know how to drive!"

Asami woke up extra early one morning, walking quietly down the halls, making sure to not wake anyone up. Quietly, she stepped into Korra's room and knelt by the sleeping girl.

"Psst, Korra. Wake up."

Korra groaned and rolled over, her hand accidentally smacking Asami right in the face. Asami pulled Korra's hand off her face and continued to jab the Avatar in the side until Korra got annoyed and got up with a huff.

"It's like...after midnight. What is it?" Korra rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"I'm going to teach you how to park a car. If in case you ever need to again."

Korra immediately got out of bed and changed.

Asami sat shotgun as Korra was in the driver's seat, streets quiet and not a person in sight.

"So... How exactly do you do this?" Korra asked, completely unsure.

"Well, first put the car in reverse and then lightly place your-" Before Asami could even finish, Korra had backed up into the car that was behind them, making Asami yelp in surprise. "Good thing we're on an almost deserted road."

"Then why is there a car behind us?" Korra grinned, wanting to see how Asami would react.

"Just listen to me!"

There was a moment of silence between the two as Asami calmed after her outburst.

"Uh, next?" Korra laughed nervously.

"Now you have to park the car right. You're at an angle and therefore the car is sticking out in the main roads. Just put the car back in drive and very

slowly out, then back up again. Repeat until the car is in the parking lane." Korra stared at Asami as if she spoke a completely different language before

placing the car in drive. It took Korra a couple times, jerking the car back and forth, before most of it was in the parking lane.

"Come on, Korra, you're almost there! You got this!" Asami cheered.

Korra beamed and gained a confidence boost. Knowing Asami had faith in her always gave Korra that extra confidence boost she needed. Korra carefully drove the car in reverse and it was the first time she managed not to hit the car behind.

"I- I did it!" Korra shouted, surprising herself.

"You did! Nowhere near as bad as last time. I'm so proud of you, Korra!" Asami cheered, eyes gleaming.

Korra felt her heart flutter knowing she made Asami proud. Asami gave her a bright smile and the two women were full of giggles.

"Now, how about I reward you...?" Asami grinned, playing with the hem of Korra's shirt.

"Asami, we're out in public. W-We ca-" Korra was cut off when Asami pressed her lips against Korra's, grinning as she earned a moan from the Avatar.

"We'll be just fine." Asami whispered into Korra's ear, pulling her to the back seat.

End.

A/N: I found it hilarious how Korra parked the car in yesterday's episode and came up with this! I actually have quite a few oneshots being written up on my phone and as they are being completed I'll post them! Nine out of ten are all KorraSami while that little bit left is other stuff I have in mind OuO Also tomorrow is my last exam (finally) so I will be dedicating most of my time to my writing and working on longer oneshots.
