Prologue-The beginning of the end
Some years after our story originates.
The resident of the Rock alcove sighed, and his heart ached. The foolish man that had tried to kill him was lying dead on the floor, though His death wasn't at the resident's hands. He was dead, along with his beloved Pokémon of his own, and it was just by sheer luck that the pokémon he had been given as slaves hadn't died, too.
The resident picked up each of the three capsules-ultra balls, he noticed, which probably meant that they had been caught as they were now, not in their first evolutionary stage. He pressed the white button in the middle of each of the ultra balls,And with an ascending hum, out popped some of the most powerful pokémon in the world:Charizard, Venasaur, and Blastoise.
They each laid down on the floor and groaned.
They were battle worn, exhausted, and quite close to death themself. Charizard's flame had almost completely died, just a feeble glow, Blastoise had a large crack in its shell, and Venasaur was lying on his flower, crushing the center.
The resident went to his medical cabin and pulled open the door, revealing a hospitals array of potions,Vitamins, and overall medicine. For about an hour he worked on healing them, but just before they woke up, realized who he was, and tried to assassinate him, he took out a Pokémon of his own and put them all to sleep. He got each of their Ultra balls, (Without the pokémon in them),slipped them under his heel one by one, and crushed them, saying as he did so, "Go into the wild, my friends, I release you.
Each of the Pok mon's head suddenly erected, witha an alert expression on each of their faces, as if someone had called their names. Charizard Jumped out of the alcove and into the air, his wings flapping lazily. Blastoise spun out inside of his shell, screaming, "Blaaaaaaaaaaaaassss!" And Venasaur tromped out muttering to himself, "Veeeeeen, saur saur."
The resident watched them leave. He knew they would survive-After all, they were some of the most powerful pok mon in the world. But still, He was sad, because he no longer had a procrastination. He sighed. He might as well get it over with.
"Brother," He said in the language of the seers, "I grant you invitation."
