The moon hung low, casting light on a figure. He had been crouching on top of the building staring at the streets far below. He was waiting for someone, that much was obvious. His eyes scanned the street once again, searching for someone… ah, there he is! The figure straightened up and smirked. "At last I've found you." He let off a small laugh of delight and disappears into the darkness.
Bryan sighed as he opened the door to his apartment. Running a weary hand through his hair, he thought back about the lousy day he had. His boss had been in a bad mood today when he walked into the office, ten minutes late, and had dumped a whole week's worth of work to him. Ten minutes. He had been ten minutes late and the man had given him seven full days of work. Sometimes he could swear to god that the man pick on him deliberately. That's not all. He had to finish the whole stack of work before he was allowed to leave. He hates his work.
A cold draft blowing across his face stopped the line of curses he was throwing at his boss. Bryan frowned as he looked towards the balcony window. Strange. He was sure that he had closed and locked all of them before he went to work. So why was one of them open? A voice behind caused him to turn around.
"So we finally meet again, Bryan. Remember me?"
