Misty gets banned

After an accident involving Staryu and a heavy cabinet, Misty gets banned from running the Cerulean City Gym. Now she and Ash must work to clear her name and restore her status as a gym leader. Ash and Misty are both 24 in this story. Bonnie and Max are both 20. Rated M for sex in chapters 8, 12 and 19.

1. Chapter 1

Misty Waterflower was at the Cerulean City Gym working out. Suddenly there was a knock at the gym's main entrance. "I'm coming!" she cried.

Misty opened the door to see a very familiar face. "Hi, Mist." the boy said.

Misty beamed, and then scowled furiously. "Ash! Where have you been? I've been so worried about you!" she yelled.

Ash smiled. "I've been traveling around Kanto." he said.

Misty shook her head. "You're still trying to be a Pokémon master. It'll never happen, Ketchum." she stated.

Suddenly there was a loud crash. "Oh no! What was that?" Misty cried.

Misty and Ash ran to the source of the sound, to find that a Staryu was trapped under a heavy cabinet. "Staryu! No!" Misty cried.

Misty and Ash ran to the Pokémon Center of Cerulean City. Nurse Joy was there to greet them. "What's the problem?" the pink haired nurse asked.

Misty panted. "My Staryu was just crushed under a heavy cabinet. Can you save him?" she asked.

Nurse Joy smiled, then sighed. "Yes I can, but I'm sending an inspector to the Gym tomorrow. I need to know that everything's safe for the Pokémon there." she said.

Misty gasped. "What if I fail the inspection?" she asked.

Nurse Joy sighed. "Then you'll be banned from running the Gym. Forever." she said.
