Title: "Mercury Kiss"

Fandom: Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive

Pairing: Ronny & Tyzonn

Rating: G

Summary: Tyzonn decides to act on a whim, which is something he rarely does. But…Ronny does funny things to him.

Author's Notes: I haven't been watching Operation Overdrive as much as I should so Ronny may seem out of character. Also, this is what should have happened in "Man of Mercury"

The touch of her hand on his arm sent a shiver through him, followed by the urge to run his hand along her cheek and through her hair.

It had been a long time since love or anything like it, had touched Tzyonn's heart. If he wanted to argue about it, he could say that love in his heart had died when his former lover was killed in an accident while he was away rescuing. But…Ronny was something special. She was calm, soothing. Her beauty was astounding, her eyes sparkling. She seemed to shimmer in the sunlight like gold.

She was reminding him of all the good he'd done, that being a rescuer was in his blood, it was who he was. She was very right of course and staying here seemed like the logical thing. But Tyzonn was only half listening to what she had to say.

Tyzonn closed his eyes for a moment and when he opened them again, she was very close to him.

"Is there something wrong?" She asked. "Are you feeling okay?" Her hand was still on his arm.

He turned his silvery colored eyes on hers and she fell silent, lost in his eyes.

"I'm fine." Tyzonn murmured,

"Good." She murmured.

He couldn't take it anymore. Suddenly, he put his free arm around her waist and kissed her deeply, pressing her body as close to him as possible. If he wanted to, he could have melted with her.

Ronny's eyes opened wide for a moment, but the intensity of the kiss, the passion drew her in and she wanted to drown in it.

Tyzonn's staff dropped from his hand as his fingers reached up to caress the small of her back and the golden silk of her hair. Her fingers traced along his arms and through his hair. They pressed tighter together, as if their lives depended on it.

Suddenly, they broke apart, slowly, carefully.

"I'm sorry…" Tyzonn murmured. "I shouldn't have…"

She pressed a finger to his lips. "It's all right." She smiled. "I liked it."

He smiled at this.

Maybe acting on a whim wasn't so bad after all…
