Peaceful Dreams
Airlia smiled up at her tutor. Melampus had been teaching her about the sages of old who had saved their world. Her brown eyes glittered in excitement as she learned about Kupas, Golding, Alexander, Kadan, Regnar, Gozo, Eagus. Sadly, though night had fallen quickly and Airlia had taken her meal with her studies. Still, it was time for the young princess to get to bed.
"Airlia, are you ready to get changed for bed?" Her mother's voice sounded before the door opened. Queen Xia was dressed in her regal green gown that was often used by the queens of the kingdom of Argonia.
Airlia nodded with a bright smile. "Until next time then Melampus." She turned back to her mother.
He nodded with a grin. "Until then. We will cover the history of Argonia in our next lesson."
Xia took her daughter by the hand and led her up to bed. She settled her daughter in her sleeping gown before tucking her into bed. "Do you want a story or a song my darling?"
Airlia's eyes brightened further. "A song would be lovely mother."
Xia nodded before sitting on the side of the bed and began to sing…
Fear not your dreams my little one.

Sleep now in your sweet, gentle slumber.
May your dreams always remain sweet and gentle my little angel.
The song came to an end as she saw her daughter sleeping peacefully, a happy smile on her face.
