"Were are we going?" shouted Rose over the roar of the TARDIS
"Remember what the Sayanoran said just before we left?" shouted the Doctor
The woman's golden hair lashed around her face, light pouring out of her. "It's nearly time!" she screeched, then turned towards were Rose and the Doctor were pressed against the doors of the TARDIS "The legend tells of the Angel girl, the lonely girl, whose planet burned in the wake of the Great Time War, the last of her kind, she alone waits for the one who will find her. The wanderer, the man who travels time and space, the one who will save her, alone she waits. The Angel Girl, The Lonely Girl, the girl who will save the human race. So the legend says."
"Yea, something about an alien girl on earth. What did it mean save the human race?" Rose gasped as the TARDIS shook violently.
The Doctor pointed the sonic screwdriver at the console and the TARDIS stopped. He looked up at rose. "There's more to the legend. Apparently there was already war on their planet before the time war, against an unspeakable creature. The fought it across time and space until it ended up on earth. Now, by then the time war had come to their planet. They did the only thing they could, knowing that they wouldn't survive the war. They left one of their own on Earth, hiding her so that the creature would not find her. The drove the creature far away, and according to legend it, knowing the fate of Ramlidad, vowed to find the last one and wage war on any planet the protected the last Ramalian."
"But," asked Rose slowly, "Then why now, surely it would have found out her location already."
"Ramalians come of age at sixteen. It hasn't been able to find her because it couldn't detect her, until she comes of age, then it'll find her instantly with all her empathic powers showing up, and the wings!"
"Empathic powers and wings." Rose looked skeptical
"yup! Fascinating, yea? Ramalians were really a fantastic race."
"So were going to go find this. . Ramalian girl."
"Yep. Today, in earth linear time of course, year 2007, is her sixteenth birthday"
