"Scared about actually being in one?" Thor asked his little brother while eyeing him.
Loki had just flown into Hong Kong a few hours ago. He simply shrugged, "I think I'll be fine." he glanced around the small area which they called a cafeteria. "What's her name?" he eyed Thor.
The older brother slowly smiled, "Gipsy Danger. She's gorgeous."
Loki brows furrowed slightly. "Gipsy Danger." he tested the name out himself then nodded, "Sounds lovely."
Around 2am a screen popped up next to Thor's bed. It read KAIJU ALERT in red and the number 3 beneath it. The number indicated which category the kaiju was in. Thor's eyes opened and he shut the alarm off the jumped out of bed.
"Rise and shine." he said waking up his brother.
Loki slowly lifted his head from the pillow then let out a soft groan. "What time is it?" he asked letting his feet hang from the side of the bed.
Thor glanced over and started getting dressed, "2:35."
"In the morning?!"
Thor chuckled, "Come on. We have to hurry."
They both got dressed then walked down the hall into a different room where people were preparing their suits. Thor glanced over at Loki with a smug look on his face. Loki glanced over at him and rolled his eyes before they put his helmet on. The yellow-liquid slowly decreased and they were led into a different area.
Loki looked around amazed then glanced over at Thor. He stepped onto two platforms that held his feet in place then something wrapped around his arm. Loki didn't hesitate and did exactly what he did.
"Prepare for the drop." They both heard a voice. Loki felt his heart jumped into his throat as they started dropping. Thor glanced over at him and chuckled shaking his head. They dropped down to the jaeger's body and were screwed in.
"Preparing for initial handshake." the voice spoke again then started counting down from 10.
Thor looked over at Loki, "Now, remember, don't chase the rabbit."
Loki eyed and furrowed his eyebrows.
Thor playfully rolled his eyes, "Don't hold on."
Loki continued to eye his brother then nodded. Thor sighed then leaned back and slowly closed his eyes.
3...2...1
Quickly they were brought in Thor's memories first. Getting, and losing, mjolnir, almost becoming king, and being sentenced to Earth the first time. Then it was Loki's memories.
"Because I'm a monster that parents tell their children about at night?!" They both heard Loki's voice clear as day. Watching Odin fall into the Odinsleep. It quickly changed to Loki holding onto the spear over the edge of the broken bifrost and Thor holding the other end.
"I could've done it, father! I could've done it! For you! For all of us…" They were both jerked back into reality after hearing Loki say those painful words.
"Initial handshake complete."
Thor couldn't help but glance at his brother. Maybe Loki wasn't as drift compatible as he thought, but it was over now. That's all that mattered. Time to put the memories behind them and kick some Kaiju ass.
