Here's a little song/poem that I wrote today. R tell me what you think!!!!

The owl hoots,
A soft sigh on the wind.
That mirrors the emotion
Of the sky.
And she
Begins to cry.
Soft blue tears float down her cheeks,
Golden hair surrounds her.
And so does a veil of grief.
Her friends are always with her,
People walk by on the streets,
Her family stays in their home.
But why, oh why,
Does she always feel
So very alone?
Because she loves a man,
Who only has eyes for his land.
And there sits a girl
Who is a leader but still so fragile.
And she imagines his strength and his courage.
She remembers his handsome face.
And she bends her head,
Cherry hair falling on her bed,
And cries.
There sits a girl in a castle,
Many worlds away.
Flaxen hair blowing in the breeze.
Lonelier than you could imagine.
And she loves the same man,
And he only has eyes for his land.
He may be busy,
He may be fighting for a cause,
But her heart is fighting
For him.
And there sit three girls,
Who love the same man.
And he only
Has eyes
For his land.
And there sits a woman
With a checkered past.
Her raven hair falls around her,
And her violet eyes fill up.
She loves her son so dearly
And he only has eyes for his land.
When there's always a whisper on the wind,
That they imagine as his voice,
Don't fear,
I'm always here
With you,
No matter what you do,
Because I love you.
And though we can't stay together,
And we are so far apart,
We'll always know
That wherever we go,
There's a love thinking of us
Far away.
And though miles are between us,
We're never really far apart.
And they wipe away their tears
And suddenly their fears
Seem further away then ever.
And they smile and they sing,
"We're never really far apart."
And though the girls' love couldn't be confessed,
It stood between them all along.
And though duty and safety of the world
Came before themselves,
It was always there,
Even if they were apart.
And from on high,
somewhere in the distance,
There's a voice that calls
Remember who you are.
You may feel love,
And you may feel great sadness,
But remember who you are,
And remember what we're fighting for.
So young,
So much responsibility,
The Rebel Leader sighs.
Whom does his heart belong to?

This is about Elyon, Will, Cornelia, Nerissa, and Caleb, if you didn't guess, and Caleb's commitment to Meridian.
I stole a little piece of this from a certain horse film. Can anyone guess? (Cookie goes to the first one who gets it. Maybe I'm the only one who watches Disney films. Very sad.)
Well, review and tell me what you thought of it!!
Caleb: (sniff) That poem was really touching. I mean, so many people love me. It's so... flattering.
Me: Darn, I thought you might not come if I was writing a poem.
Caleb: Of course not. I'm (waves hands) everywhere.
Me: I'm sure you are. (Sighs) I'm bored. What's up with you and the other guys?
Caleb: Oh, Zac and I were debating about flippy hair and gravity-defy hair when Murtagh shot him in the butt.
Me: NO!!!! Is he okay????
Caleb: Yeah. But then Jack Sparrow got him drunk. Again.
Me: Sometimes I wonder if he ever gives rum to a certain fictional character with brown hair and a name that starts with a C.
Caleb: It's not Caleb with a C anymore!!!! It's Kaleb, with a K!!!!!!!
Me: And as someone once said on FF, it seems unfair that there was one Caleb: one totally awesome cute guy. I think they should discover that he has three or four other brothers. And so, other pairings are okay, too, since everybody wants Caleb.
Caleb: Yes. Yes, they do.
Me: Get over yourself.
