With chocolate chips for eyes
I watched the monster
As it devoured my batch mates
One by one.
What had once been 24,
Was down to just me.
The monster had devoured each
And every other one.
I thought I would be safe
For you see
The monster stood and left the room
And I thought I might survive
But alas
The beast-
He returned-
With a glass of milk in hand.
Light frowned as he looked over to L, who was eating Chocolate Chip cookies like no tomorrow. 'Did you say something?' He asked as the other teen drank the glass of milk down quickly.
L Smiled widely- 'Not a thing Light-kun!' L promised as he licked his lips clean of the chocolate that had ended up there while devouring the cookies like a great big cookie monster.
All my friends at school liked this Poem so I thought I would put it up.
