Sometime after the wildebeest stampede.
Simba's POV
"It's all my fault." I keep reminding myself. That's what my uncle, Scar, told me. And he's right. If I hadn't roared, then the wildebeest wouldn't have been spooked. If I had only stayed on the rock like Uncle Scar told me to, then I wouldn't have been running for my life. If I hadn't been in the gorge in the first place, then none of this would've happened and my dad wouldn't have died! Yep, I messed up big time and I'm getting what I deserve. I can't go back home. I had ran away after the incident and now I'm lost. Even if I could find my way back, I could never show my face to my pride again after what I've done. Especially not to my mom. What would she think about her son who killed his own father?I don't want to think about it! Meanwhile, the sun is getting hotter and hotter until it's getting too much to bear. Maybe it would be better if I were dead. I can't make it out on my own here anyway so I might as well be dead than alive. I laid down on the ground and didn't move an inch. I had given up. The last thing I see is the sun and then I fall unconscious.
Jesus and his disciples were walking through the desert to get to the town ahead. Jesus was walking in front of the 12 men when He thought He saw someone lying still in the sand. No, scratch that. He DID see someone lying still in the sand. Without warning, Jesus ran over to see a little boy, unconscious and helpless. "Raboni! Where are you, Master?" He heard his followers shout. Jesus didn't answer right away. Instead he was checking to see if the boy was alive. He checked to see if the little boy's heart was beating or if he was even breathing. He strained His ear to hear a faint heartbeat and raspy breathing. "Master! Where are you?" He heard his followers shout again. No sooner than He heard them yell His name, He carried the boy in His arms and carried him to the others. "Master, who is that boy and why are You carrying him?" One of the men asked. "I'll explain when we get to town." Was Jesus reply.
