Prologue: One of my normal mornings or so I thought

-Mai's PoV-

"Ohayo Mai-chan!"

Everything was going nice or rather normal. Doing my same normal task, greeting my friends good morning and them greeting back then suddenly start begging at my best friend Yuki to share her homework.

This morning is one of my normal mornings or so I thought it would be when suddenly someone came flying in front of me then start shouting to take cover and so we did. What happened next was not something a normal high school student would want to see or experience. It was all thanks to the guy that my best friend and I have survived, or else we were good as dead just like my other classmates. Nevertheless, who would be reckless enough to send horde of bullets to a classroom full of students thinking that it is only one of their normal morning such as me? Maybe it is a terrorist. But I didn't heard of any terrorist group in this country...

"Everyone! Jump out of this building!" The guy shouted making me confuse, is he trying to give us a death wish?

"Are you trying to give us a death wish?!" Ah, Yuki and I were thinking the same thing.

"No and why would I? As you can see that guy is holding a bazooka, it's better to fall from the second floor which can give you couples of broken bones than being shot by a bazooka that can completely end your life, correct me if I am wrong. Now jump if you don't want to join your classmates in the purgatory!" Yuki and I was completely speechless. We jumped as what he ordered us, well, its not that we don't want to meet our classmates, it was because of the avenue.

Just as what the guy said, maybe I broke a couple of bones, I'm not sure of it, it is just that I cannot move my lower body.

"Yuki, are you okay?" I asked as I rolled my body toward hers.

"No, how about you?" She answered the obvious.

"Same as you, I don't think I can use my feet for a while." I answered as I tried to move my right foot.

"Really? Then you're lucky." She looked at me with teary eyes.

"You conceder this lucky? Did the fall made you lose an ample amount of brain cells which is enough to make you think that me 'being not able to move my feet for a while' lucky?" I asked in a slightly angry tone.

"No, it is just that I won't be able to use my feet anymore." She answered forcing herself to smile.

"W-what are you talking about Yuki?" I scolded her as I tried to look at her feet, which was currently impossible on my current position.

"Hehe." She laughed then started to cry while I did my best to make her comfortable until help arrive.

"What a hectic morning, definitely not one of my normal morning." I murmured.

A/N: There we have the prologue, I tried to make it as long as I can but it looks like it is still short for a prologue. Please near with my short chapters, I sucks at making them long. Thank you very for those who have read and please continue to do so and also, please review! It will make my day complete!
