PROLOGUE
"Edward" I cried as I tried to pry their hands away from my body. "Please" I begged. "Please, let me see him!" No one seemed to reply. They dragged me outside the building and told me to go away. I sat on the pavement and began to weep.
He is safe… I chanted to myself like a mantra. This was how I composed my self for the last two weeks. I couldn't let him go. I had to try and try harder.
I closed my eyes and let my wander to those happy days which seemed like dim memories now.
