Author's Note: I suddenly had this idea and I decided to write it since I know it will be really short, I guess it's a slight break from studying.
Warning: this story is sort of disturbing.
Sakurazuka Setsuka was given her first doll to play with on her tenth birthday, although it had not been very fun because not only did they make her break it, she was not allowed to keep the broken thing, because they seemed to think that broken dolls must be put away.
Since they continued to bring her more dolls, she ended up being rather picky: she refused to play with dolls that were smaller then her.
This whim was not very problematic because she remained very petite, although they still had to force her to play with dolls she did not really like now and then.
When she turned thirteen they took her to the place where the broken dolls were put- this made her sulk for a very long time because she was not happy that all these dolls must be so far away from her, even if they were broken.
She finally got her own doll when she became sixteen, although ownership could only be obtained by breaking it. She kept the doll with her for a very long time until she realized why broken dolls mus be put away, because a very disgusting smell would come from it.
So she began to find new dolls herself and entertain herself by thinking about whether there was a better way to break them when she hasn't got one. She really did hate to make them ugly by having to poke a hole through them, or make their head fall down in a weird angle.
The last doll she properly appeared when she was eighteen, he was very different from all the other ones because he was able to play with her. She might not have broke him so soon if he didn't want to play with someone else other then her.
Because he was such a beautiful doll, she kept him in her room even when he began to make her wonder why she was so fond of him in the first place.
At that time she was also finding her body altering and this excited her because she has never obtained a doll this way.
But he wasn't a doll, he was like her- someone who would play with dolls.
The first thing she did when she returned home was to bury the doll that had helped her to find her son. For that alone she did wonder whether she should keep him in this house forever, but in the end she still decided against it.
She didn't really care to play with dolls any more, especially one that was broken.
Her son would be more picky then her but he would still end up with a favourite doll, although he differed from her by making sure that it would not break, so he never had to try and find replacements. 2
Author's Note: This story is meant to be obscure and bizarre (so please don't ask for any detail or explanation other then what I will soon give, there is none), and to be honest I am quite shocked that I still wrote this story, although I think the idea is really disturbing. Basically Setsuka sees people as dolls and killing them is like breaking dolls, while burying them underneath the sakura is the same as putting them away.
I don't know if that is my view of Setsuka, this is just the idea that I suddenly have. I got this idea when I suddenly recollected a scene from interview with the vampire (the film), when Lestat saw that Claudia actually killed a woman and kept her as a doll by putting her with all her other dolls.
