Death: Tears in the Memory of Percy Jackson
I hope that you enjoy this one-shot about Percy and Annabeth. I find it quite cute and sad. Yes, it is a Percabeth. I hope that Honest 101 will not review and say, "Congrats! You have just earned ANOTHER place in my community!" Though, she probably will. Anyway, here is my new fic: Death: Tears in Memory of Percy Jackson. Oh, sorry that there is not may paragraphs so, try to deal.
Annabeth POV
Percy started to run. His fierce green eyes were open wide. His legs were
pumping in a faster motion than he had even pumped them. Beads of sweat were pouring down his forehead. As long as he could get away from the building that was
doomed to blow up in just a few seconds. You see, Luke had finally got us. He somehow convinced us to go to a building (It is all a blur to me). When we got there we noticed that there was a ticking noise. We discovered the bomb, and Percy told me that I couldn't be there and made me leave. I did. But, I was watching from a safe distance. He had tried to stop it, but he had apparently not succeed. Why else would he be running? I was far enough away that the impact wouldn't effect me to greatly. Percy was close enough that it would. Percy had made me promise not to come and help him. I knew that I couldn't break that promise. Then It happened. The explosion. Orange flames rushed out of the building. One of those huge mushroom clouds erupted from the building. Though, it wasn't even a structure anymore. The remnants of it were scattered abroad. Pieces of glass had cut through Percy's skin. I could see the gash's from all the way over here."Oh no," I whispered. I rushed in right after things had calmed down at least a bit and tried to find him. He was lying underneath some of the
bigger parts of the building. I could here his moans and groans of pain from a mile away. Closer, I started to hear gasps of breaths, meaning it must have been getting harder to breathe. I searched some of the parts and found his body. I got small cuts a few times due to rummaging through all the broken pieces of glass. Small fires were still erupting all over. There was one that was close to Percy that I started to sweat because of the heat. I grabbed him. He seemed very heavy and his breaths were getting slower and slower.
"Percy, you can'this to me," I said, "please don't go." His eyelids were a blanket to the beautiful sea green eyes underneath them.. I felt his chest for a pulse. There was still one, but it was very faint. There were cuts all over his arms and legs. His clothing was torn in pieces, so he was mostly nude. It almost... excited. Weird... I put my ear up to his chest and started to weep.
"Percy, I love you. You can'this to me," I whispered, "I always loved you. Since the day we met. Just don't leave me. Please." The thumping in my ear got slower and slower until it was nothing. He was no longer breathing.
Then I looked up to the skies and yelled, "Why are you doing this to
me?" I got no answer from the gods back. I took Percy's limp body into my arms
and took off.
And no, she is not going to join the Titans. Well, just review and tell me what you think.
