She was going to die.

She knew it with utmost certainty. After everything she had see and done, she was going to die, a mile away from home in a pool of her own blood. She knew the chance of survival was slim and the wound of her stomach was fatal unless treated real soon.

And as out of the corner of her vision (she had lost the ability to move a while back) she could see her team-mates sprawled in messy heaps around her.
She knew that help really wasn't going to be found.
She was going to die, and she had never been kissed.
She had murdered, slaughtered, maimed and destroyed.
But she hadn't loved. And now she was dying.

"Tak, tak, tak.." Wait she knew that noise, someone was walking around.
"Chiyoko?" Soft and quiet too quiet for her to make out the voice, and whoever it was wasn't in her field of vision. Much better, the person had dropped down to his knees, and by the look on the little she could see of his face, he knew she was dying too.

"Kakashi...can I..ask a favour?" She wondered at herself for what she was about to ask but put it down to loss of blood making her loose her mind.
"Would you...kiss me? I don't wanna die without..."

She didn't finish the sentence but it didn't matter they both knew the rest, a confession that made her seem her age for once. Kakashi frowned and she thought he would turn her down. Pity the poor pathetic dying girl, she closed her eyes it would be easier that way she wouldn't see the pity.

A cool hand touched her cheek, tracing a gentle line down her face, she parted her lips a question on her tongue but then what little air she had left was stolen as warm lips pressed softly against hers. She sighed happily, for a moment forgetting.

She was going to die but she had got a kiss of Kakashi from it.
