Hey guys, so this is just a little drabble I came up with, I've written it using my iPod as I'm not at my computer at the moment, so I'll double check for mistakes when I get the chance. Hope you enjoy ;D

Just as he dodged one attack he came into the path of another. He didn't have enough time to react as his body fell backwards towards the ground. He watched as the kunai flew towards him, aimed mercilessly at his vitals. Just as he lifted his arms and turned his head away, a blue light flashed around him and he heard the clatter of metal as the kunai hit off the swirling barrier before hitting the ground. Now on the ground he peeked up from his half closed eyes to see a flutter of familiar midnight hair.

He let his arms drop from their protective stance in front of him, the barrier around him dissipating into nothing.

Naruto looked at his rescuer. Her long hair moving fluidly as the wind blew through it, it's dark colour contrasting with her pale creamy skin. She wore the standard forest green chunin jacket that fit her snugly over her navy t-shirt and pants.

Naruto moaned. "Hinataaaa." The woman turned her head to look at him, the corners of her mouth turning up into a cute smile, her large lavender eyes tempting him to forget the mission and get lost in them.

He stuck his bottom lip out unimpressed.

"What's wrong Naruto?" Her gentle voice bore a hint of laughter at his childlike expression.

Naruto's eyes narrowed up at her before swiftly looking away. He mumbled out through his still pouting expression, "You're leading by too much."

Hinata giggled. "I suppose you're right."

Naruto folded his arms and gave her a scolding look for laughing. "What is it now?"

Hinata stopped laughing for a moment as she looked upwards thoughtfully, her mouth moving silently as she counted. Laughing again she looked back down at him. "That's 21-18 to me."

Naruto grumbled as he steadily got to his feet dusting himself off.

Hinata raised her hand and continued to giggle behind it. "Oh Naruto, don't be like that. I enjoy saving you! Maybe you should just accept that when it comes to saving each other, I'm always going to be one step ahead." She cocked her head to the side as she gave him a dazzling smile.

Naruto continued to look unimpressed for a moment before a thought crossed his mind that caused him to laugh mischievously to himself. He let out a deep sigh before taking a step towards Hinata rubbing the back of his head.

"Gee Hinata, I guess you're right. But let's not forget what it is that I do win in." Taking a further step towards her, Hinata raised her eyebrows slightly, looking questioningly at him whilst still smiling innocently.

Taking his chance he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him. She gave a surprised squeal before he planted his lips on her pale pink ones. He held the sweet kiss for a moment, feeling the heat radiating from her face, before letting go of her. Her pale skin was now dusted with red at the embarrassment of his sudden action. He grinned devilishly at her. Letting go of her wrist he sidestepped to walk around her.

"And what's the score now?"

Out the corner of his eye he saw her bury her face in her hands as she turned beet red.

"I-it's 766-482."

Naruto smirked to himself as he ran back into battle.

A/N: I've really liked the idea of Naruto and Hinata 'keeping score' of saving each other since chapter 559, which I re-read earlier and so I decided to just write a short little something on it :)
