Pains

You never expect them, you can't hardly cry
You can't speak your mind, and don't quite know why.
You know they will come, like night follows day
You don't know their reason, and beg they not stay.
You can't find a reason for the pains in your heart,
You know they will come, so you just play your part.
Sometimes its people, who don't have a clue
That whatever their choices, they affect you.
They ask you what's wrong, if your alright
But you just can't tell them 'you've hurt me this night.'
You cherish and adore the one you love
knowing they were sent from the one up above.
The one who is closest carries your heart,
But you knew it would hurt...right from the start.
They love you too much to hurt you knowingly,
which only makes it harder for them to see.
It's just little things, not really bad
that make you feel hurt, alone, and sad.
But love is a miracle, it makes things alright
Love gives you wings, to which give you flight.
Learning is hard, but once its done your enlightened,
For what its worth now, your not even frightened.
Now you've learned, and your time has been spent,
For your done with this body, which God to you has lent.
You lived and loved, and delt with the pain,
You earned your peace and for love, you will gain.
You and your loved are never apart,
even when pain struck you like a sharp, poisoned dart.
You see new love, in the fresh and young
And tell them that grandma too had a love that sung.
Your leaving behind the life that you've led,
And left in your place is a pained family instead.
You wish you could tell them such wonderful things,
How not to be sad, as the multitude sings.
For now you know all the answers of life not declared,
All of which, in life you were not prepared.
Your love never dies, it's now redirected,
To the one who gave love, and from whom you were selected.
No need for tears in heaven above,
Cause lifes pains made you look for the maker of love.
