There is safety in numbers

The arms around his body serve to prove this- they are there to keep him safe, to protect him from any harm that may dare venture towards him. Even the moon keeps its distance, fully aware of the power held in those arms.

The sense of security is reflected in the curtain of warmth radiating from those arms, as they lend their heat to his body. Yet...this heat is burning him, etching itself into his skin. The pain is not constant- it rises as he leans backwards, reaching out to stroke the soft hair he knows his fingers will find. He leans back, sinking into the embrace, throwing his body like firewood into the only too eager flame.

This fire is safety; the pain is proof that he will be protected.

The nails digging into his exposed midriff and the blood seeping across his skin are irrelevant.

Humans are so beautiful

Their skin is soft and willing, as if waiting for the dragger to be drawn across. The blood boils in anticipation, eager to be let loose, to burst away from the gentle cage, taking life with it. Gentle limbs that lash out in resistance, only to bend to his will and succumb to the desire he knows lies within.

A part of him wants to lean forwards and cup that resilient little chin in his hand. It's almost as if his fingers are aching from the desire to stroke that tender face.

No, tenderness will not do. The true pleasure lies within the pain.

Eyes move back and forth, eager to swallow the scene before them, to commit it to memory and lock away this beauty in a place where it will never be forgotten. Fists clench as in anticipation as she leans forward, straining to see in the fading evening light. The two figures are cloaked in shadow; their actions would be barely visible to a normal human eye. But, these eyes are not 'normal'.

The figures move closer, as one leans back against the other. The girl's eyes widen and her hand moves to cover her mouth. She doesn't know if it is to stifle a scream, or a gasp of anticipation. The two figures have not noticed her presence and she knows they never will, for this is her role in this drama. The maid watches from the shadows. The maid knows everything.
