Hiya all, this is my first Final Fantasy story that I have wrote. It's
mainly all about Wakka. Basically its after they defeated Sin. Tidus and
Auron are back, but is it for good? Something is happening to Wakka, he's
changing. Can Lulu and the others save him in time before he's gone for
forever? R/R plz
I don't own Final Fantasy X or any of the characters involved in my story,
Squaresoft do.
Prologue: The smile on Wakka's face widened as the Besaid Aurochs scored yet another goal. It was the end of the first half in the final of the annual blitzball tournament. Not only Wakka, but also everyone there knew that it might as well be over for there wasn't a doubt in anyone's mind that the Besaid Aurochs would lose. Ever since Tidus had joined them they had won every match, he had even taught Wakka the legendary Jecht Shot The Ronso Rages growled loudly in their gruff voices as the buzzer sounded the end of that half. Wakka swam towards the exit of the giant bubble of water; he turned ever so slightly to flash a grin at a young black haired girl in the crowd.
The second half started off just like the first had, the Besaid Aurochs were in the lead. But towards the end the Ronso Rages seemed to get the upper hand and with only a few seconds left they were tied; everything lay on the final goal. Tidus held the blitzball tightly in his hand and glanced quickly around: one Ronso was behind him and two blocked his way in front of him. He was so close to the goal but he knew that it was too risky to break for it. Instead Tidus passed the blitzball to Wakka, who was floating nearby. Wakka saw the blitzball come straight at him, it was a good move the Ronso Rages all thought that Tidus would be cocky just like he usually was and break for the goal. Wakka caught the blitzball with ease and smiled his thanks at Tidus. "Wakka! Use the Jecht Shot! Just like I taught you!" Tidus shouted through the water hoping that Wakka had heard him. He had all right. Wakka held the blitzball in his hands ready to do the Jecht Shot. The only problem was that he couldn't remember the move at all. Wakka bit his lip cutting into the skin; he was panicking. The Ronso Rages were swimming directly at him. Wakka had to pass, he knew he was rubbish at passing but there was nothing else he could do. Letty was open waiting to receive the blitzball. But no such luck, Wakka's pass missed Letty completely and went into the hands of a Ronso Rage. Jassu swam after the Ronso, when he stopped Jassu took his chance and tackled him. The blitzball went flying up out of the bubble. Tidus gasped and swam after it. He burst up out of the bubble. Flipping backwards he kicked the blitzball down into the water. Datto saw the blitzball coming down at an alarming speed; he timed his move exactly and smacked the ball straight into the goal just as the buzzer sounded the end of the game.
"Besaid Aurochs Win!" The announcer shouted out. The crowd screamed in delight and began chanting at the tops of their voices as the players waved and held up the Blitzball cup. They were all laughing, smiles on all their faces, except one: Wakka's. He was confused; whenever he had forgotten something it had always come back to him. But he still couldn't remember for the life of him what the Jecht Shot was.
