Intrigued

"I've never cared.

I've never cared about anything going on around me, or anyone other than that select few that manage to get close to me.

That is, until recently.

My sister's death opened my eyes to the fact that all people have a story, and whether good or bad, most are worth knowing.

However, there is one, a girls story that intrigues me the most.

The way it is able to stir up emotions I've never known I had; never felt, or even dared to imagine having.

Sadness.

Grief.

Guilt.

But it's the amount of feeling, emotion, passion, and forgiveness, of this girl that intrigues me so.

That she would be able to experience so much grief, guilt, loss, sorrow, and betrayal, and yet still be able to to forgive all of the people who wronged her so easily, I myself being among one of the worst, and yet, the one she loves most of all.

Her story is one that no longer only intrigues me, but amazes me, no matter how many times I hear it, and no matter what, will never cease.

For she has made me, the most cold, heartless, and uncaring snake of all, able to care, able to feel, able to love without end.

And every day I hope, I pray, that no matter what, Amy Cahill will teach me to love and care, until death do us part." Ian Kabra looked up at Amy to see a tear running down her cheek.

For a moment, he was worried that he'd done something wrong, but then, as the pastor spoke the words, 'you may kiss the bride', he figured he'd done alright when she pulled him down to her.
