They're taking too much blood.
He must have said it aloud because the nurse laughs, once, and pulls the needle from his arm. "Eat this," she says, her tone motherly and foreign, and wraps his fingers around a power bar.
He unwraps it but can't seem to bring it to his lips. "You can't tell anyone."
"Confidentiality applies to nurses, too, Doctor."
He nods, relieved. "And John? Does he have-"
"Confidentiality also applies to Col. Sheppard."
"Ah."
In the back of his mind, Rodney always thought his scientific hubris would be their downfall, not a random encounter with a Genii scientist in the back of a cave.
