A/N: This is the new rewritten version of chapter 1. Please enjoy and I'll eventually have the other chapters done plus a new one if possible. Please also note that I've deleted the old appearances of the girls and the time. The original time was 2013 but it's going to change to 2015. I feel like it's easier this way to make more references and that there wouldn't be such a drastic change from 12 to 16. Anyways here are the new appearances.
Emily Silverstar: Long wavy black hair up to her lower back w/ bangs(her hair is the longest) ;most of the time keeps it in a ponytail, pigtails, or braid of some sort; dark chocolate eyes; tan skinned; oval glasses
Sophia Rubicon: Meduim wavy blonde hair up to mid back w/ side swept bangs to the right; places it in a bun, high ponytail or lets it go; dark blue/greyish eyes; pale skin;
Melissa Thwart: Meduim straight brunet hair w/ bangs parted to the left; usually has it let go or in a clip; light grey eyes; olive skin;
And with that onto Chapter 1
I'm Emily Silverstar. My two other cousins, Sophia Rubicon and Melissa Thwart, are here with me at my house. Strange last names run in the family. Don't Judge. Sophia, Melissa and I were going to go to Melissa's House because Melissa's Mom, is having a family reunion. And since me, Melissa, and Sophia were always the only kids there, we usually go into Melissa room and fantasize about Young Justice. Another thing that runs in the family is strange obsessions. In our case, we have Young Justice.
Most of the time during our little fantasies, Melissa gets Superboy/Conner Kent, Sophia gets Nightwing/Dick Grayson, and I get Impulse/Bart Allen. Sophia and I actually used to fight over Nightwing, but I eventually just let it go. I mean he's just a character, but he was still pretty hot though. Anyways, we eventually did arrive at Melissa's house.
So, we finally got to Melissa's house and we did our thing. Enter the house, give our greetings to everyone, help set up, then run like hell upstairs. For hours on end, Sophia, Melissa and I sat there and talked. It wasn't until around 12 am we finally stopped talking. "Hey um, shouldn't we be home yet?" asked Sophia. "Yeah.." I replied to her. It was at the exact same moment Melissa's mom came in and said, "Hey girls great news!" She looked at Sophia and I in specific, "You're parents just went home and let you guys sleepover!" "Yes!" We all said simultaneously as we cheered and laughed.
We all continued talking for about another hour or so until my aunt came in again. "Hey girls, it's 1 am, go to sleep", she answered us in her pajamas in a groggy tone. We all sighed, but we prepared for bed anyways. 20 minutes later, we were all finished and the three of us including Melissa's mom got out the inflatable bed so I could sleep on it. The girls and I continued to talk for about 10 more minutes until we finally went to sleep. The real adventure though, began when we woke up the next morning.
