A/N: It feels like forever since I've posted but holidays and family coming in tends to do that. Enjoy the drabble
This wasn't the first or the last time a no-name motel was turned into Winchester medical center and by now, Sam was more than proficient at patching up just about anything Dean brought home after a hunt.
"Looks worse than it is" was the party line when it came Dean; nothing was ever that bad and don't even think about babying him. He was a hunter and some bumps along the way were part of the deal.

Sam grabbed supplies and eyed the wound Dean's shoulder.
"Umm…Dean?"
"Yeah yeah, 'this might sting.' I know the drill. Just do it."
