Title: It Makes No Difference
Summary: "It makes no difference to me. You're still Suzaku. I love you."

Suzaku's face went pale. He felt like vomiting.
How...? What is this? How did he know...
It was what happened moments ago, Mao said: "Don't touch me, father-killer!"
After Mao was gone, Lelouch was still there.
"Suzaku, was what Mao said true?" Lelouch asked. Suzaku just vomited, then looked at Lelouch. "So, it is true." Lelouch stated. "Lelouch...I...just..." Suzaku couldn't find any words. He couldn't think. He was so afraid. What if Lelouch said something? What did his best friend think of him now? The man that he secretly loves. "Kirihara. He said your father killed himself. It was necessary." Lelouch said.
"Lelouch...what...do you think of me now?" Suzaku asked quietly.
It was also true Suzaku hated himself. For killing his father. When he got shot for saving Lelouch, he should've died then. He was only reminded again when he unfortunately awoke and saw his father's shattered pocket watch. He always charged into danger. That's why he joined the military, and he thought he should just die already.
"It wasn't just your secret." Lelouch reminded him. "But, I still did it." Suzaku said. "You did what you had to do. It doesn't make a difference to me. Do you know why?" Lelouch asked. "No..." Suzaku said. "You're still you. You're still Suzaku. And..." Lelouch stopped for a minute. "I'm in love with you." Lelouch said.
"You too...?" Suzaku asked. "You love me, and I love you, yes." Lelouch said. "I could tell you love me, Suzaku. And I love you too." He walked over to Suzaku and kissed him briefly. "You're still Suzaku. You're also mine."
