Authors note: Unlike most fics about people falling into ME, this one involves a guy, not a girl. Some things will be written like the book, but mostly from the movie. The title is Scottish for I Don't Understand ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ferris Ranson stepped into the hallway, all eyes turned to stare at him. "Hey ya Fer" a brown spikey haired guy said, putting his arm on Ferris's shoulder.
"Hey Jake"
Jake stuffed his fists into his letterman jacket, "So ya ready for the big game."
Ferris shrugged, "I guess"
Jake was suddenly distracted by his girlfriend Haly. Now only a year ago Jake would have been with a group of guys beating Ferris up, but this year was different. Ferris wasn't the same geeky guy he had been for the past three years of highschool. Over the summer months, he had worked out almost everyday, now the once scrawny junior was now a muscley senior. He finally had gotten rid of those horrid glasses, all his acne had cleared up, and his hair was syled like Dominic Monaghan's.

The day had completely sucked and the only thing he had forward looking to was Drama practice. Every year they had a winter production, this year was Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (based off the movie not the book.) Ferris had landed the part of his favorite character, Merry! For the past two weeks they had been having dress rehearsals, and today was no different. Ms. Minters, the drama teacher, walked in, "Alright after everyone is dressed, we will begin at the ShortCut to Mushrooms scene"
After getting into his hobbit costume, he walked out to the stage waiting for the other three to get finished. His best friend since junior high Thad was playing Pippin, Josh ,their new friend, was Frodo, and Seth, Thad's younger brother, a freshman, was Sam.
~~~~~~~~~~~~`` Practice ended at 7, and Ms. Minters had told them to take their costumes home, and have them cleaned and ready for the big production tomorrow. Still in their costumes the four "Hobbits" went to grab a bite to eat. THey decided to eat at the Hula HUt, a Sushi Bar with the Hawaiian theme. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ferris drove was driving home in his 85 beat up Corvette, he was getting weird glances from people, he was still in his costume. He had been sitting at this red-light for hours, when the light finally turned green. As soon as that light turned colors he pealed, but he didn't see the person on the other side of the intersection run their red light. Ferris screamed as the car smashed into his side. He had a gash on his head, and all he could see was a blinding light, he felt like he was dying, and he laid his head on the steering wheel, "Somebody, help me" he whispered, his eyes soon closed
