OK, people. I need to inform you that this IS my first fanfic. I am rather proud of it, so PLEASE don't flame me. Constructive criticism is nice, but please no "I hate you, you suck" "You story sucks" etc.

Just so you know, this is a tag to the episode Brain Scratch. It is one of my favorite episodes and it has some good chances for fluff, ne? This is exploiting one of those chances, so it is a Spike/Faye fic.

One last thing before I start-thank-yous. A BIG thank-you goes out to Trapt-tears, who I met a couple of months ago (before I knew she had an account at ) and everybody, thank her! If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't be writing this. Another thank-you goes to a VERY good friend of mine, Koharu (What? Did you think I was going to tell you her real name? That's just her nickname.) If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't even know what Cowboy Bebop is. So, read on! I am done rambling now. Well, maybe not.

Disclaimer: I just won the lottery, and now I'm going to buy Cowboy Bebop! NOT! I don't own them, and I probably never will.

I sat there on a box, smoking, as I studied her face. It's amazing just how angelic she can look when she's sleeping. She was just like the aforementioned angel, sent down from Heaven without her wings, wearing that very odd pink suit that all the members of Scratch wore. The only thing that clashed with the angel-ness was that ridiculous yellow-orange headband. It was the only thing that kept her hair from falling into her eyes. Actually, it made her hair frame her face. That really made her look nice...well, not just nice. Beautiful. Wait, that's not true. She looks beautiful all the time. She just looks...softer. She's normally one of the toughest women on this side of the galaxy, but sometimes...you can catch her at a moment like this, and you just have to love her. I left that train of thought and gazed at that oh-so-deceiving face, the face that would flash you the most stunning and elegant smile as she picked your pockets clean of even lint. I sat there, lost in thought about her, as my first cigarette burnt out. I dropped it on the ground, putting it out with my shoe, and lit another. Doing everything without thinking about it, totally lost in my thoughts. Catching me by suprise, she sat up and looked at me, saying, "Oh, long time no see. Where am I?" I gaped, surprised that she had caught me thinking about her. I quickly remembered myself, and resumed my normal cool expression. I had a lot to explain.
