Answer to a Silent Call

A/N: this is Harry's answer to the poem 'this girl.'

Many nights I lay awake thinking
Thoughts of a certain red-head girl
In my mind's eye I can see
The face of an angel
With a smile that brightens up my life

I can see her love...her courage
Her determination to make me see
The pleasures that her love could bring me
Still I stay away suffering as much as she is
Cause if any harm that would befall her would be my doom

I know she could not see
The secret that I keep close in my heart
The secret that no one could know
Not until I know that evil does not roam
Not until I know that she would be safe from injury

How can I stay away from this girl?
The girl that forever holds my heart...my love
How I wish that I could make her see?
That forever I will be hers and no one else
That the future will be ours to hold.

My heart aches to hold her in my arms
To feel her close in my heart
Torn between running to her and away from her
But for now I will satisfy myself knowing
That she is alive and free from harm

And when the day comes
That good triumphs over evil
Then I can claim her as my own
And let the world see
The love that survives all.

Love it? Hate it? Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. If you can think
of a better title, feel free to tell me. May be I can write a happier
ending for h/g or would I just stop here......
