Matthew looked over to all his friends. They were lauphing and talking happily to each didnt notice the deppressed blond boy siting by himself in the corner of the room. They never notice him, even his own family never notices him. The only person that noticed him was Gilbert but he died long ago due to the wars between him and his brother Ludwig. God how much Matthew missed him, the way he would walk into the room with an aloof air. The way he would gently talk to Matthew when he was upset or hurt by the others ignorace towards him. How much he needed that comfort now. All of this is suffocating, he felt as if he was drowning in a vast ocean. One so large that no one was able to pull him out of it. He curled up into a ball and started to cry. No one in the room seemed to notice, exept one who dared to venture over the the hurting Canadian.
"Comrade Matvey are you okay?" Ivan said sitting next to the crying boy. Matthew nodded his head and looked at Ivan in mild shock. Him of all people noticed him. One of the most vicious countrys there ever was, was trying to comfort him. Matthew wiped his eyes and tiled his head as he saw concern in Ivan voliet eyes. The same color as his own, exept his were slighty darker and had a coldness to them. Matthew perceded to look around the room to see no one was paying attention to the two of them. He sighed.
"Thanks Ivan b-but I'm perfectly f-fine." Matthew tried to say this but as he realized this was not true he started to cry once again and turned with raid succsestion to hug the bulky nation next to him. Ivan let the smaller boy hug him and hesetantly patted his back. He was not expecting the sudden hug from the Canadian.
"That is not true, da?" Ivan asked looking down at the boy with affection. Though the Canadian never knew it Ivan had always loved him. Seeing Matthew like this made Ivan extreamly sad. He wanted to protect the Canadian from everything that could possibly hurt him. Ivan rubbed Matthew's back soothingly trying to get the smaller nation to calm down.
"N-no its not t-true." Matthew whisperd quietly and started to stand up. Ivan looked around the room. He knew that if he left Matthew alone he would go somewhere else to sulk by himself again. Sighing, Ivan got up of the chair and followed the blond boy outside. Matthew looked up at the dark sky, he wished he could be a star. They die in peace and no one could ever remeber they were there since there are so meny in the sky. He let onetear escape at this thought as he heard someone behind him. Matthew turned round to see Ivan standing there watching him in couriosity.
"Why did you follow me?" Matthew asked not harsh but instead he said this softly intended to let Ivan know he was greatful he is not alone again. Ivan stood there for a few seconds before turning to the night sky just like Matthew had a few seconds ago.
"I followed you because I dont want you to suffer alone like I had." Ivan finally said. He did not look down from the sky when he said this. Matthew saw a smile form on his lips as he said this though. Matthew walked over to stand in front of Ivan and looked up at the stars with him.
" We are not alone anymore." Matthew said simply as he closed his eyes. No ,he thought we are not alone. As long as we have each other we shall never feel the lonelyness and hatered of that lonelyness ever again.
"Da." Ivan said as they walked back into the building everyone else was in. They just sat in there corner quietly enjoying there company, and thus neither of them were ever angry or lonely again.
