Sometimes , the blue eyed son of Zeus wonders what would his life be like if he wasn't a demigod. Peaceful perhaps , he thinks with a exaggerarted sigh how nice it would be to lead a normal life , preferably one where you did not have to worry about an attack from some ancient roman/greek meanies every few seconds or so.

But his life isn't. Never really had been normal since his mother left him under Lupa's care.

"Jason , you've been on guard duty all night. Go to your room and get some sleep.I'll get Percy to watch the deck."

Jason looks over his shoulder to see Annabeth coming at him , her blond hair pulled up into a high ponytail and her grey eyes as stormy as ever.

" You get some sleep too."

He goes to his room and falls on the bed.A thousand thoughts flood his mind,just as frantic as torrents in a flooding , he is worried about if all of the crew of Argo II will make it out alive from the war with the were going to reach Athens tomorrow and the fate on the world hangs on them but no pressure there.

"Touble falling asleep ?"

He looks up and finds himself staring into Piper's kaleidoscopic eyes.

She sits down on his bed besides him and holds his marvels at how beautiful she really is , even when she tries hard to hide it.

She leans in to kiss him. Their lips touch and they stay that way for a brief they finally break contact , Jason finds himself smiling.

Yes , his life is nowhere close to being even manageable ,he spends every waking second worrying about if he will be even alive to see another children his age worry about getting caught while making out ; he has to worry about making sure Gaia doesn't wake up from her dirt nap to destroy life as we know it , definitely no pressure.

But if it means he gets to have Piper in his life , he doesnt't mind it being so crazy and upside all the mistakes he made paved the way for her to come into his life, suddenly those mistakes don't seem like mistakes.

With her by his side , Life is a battle he is willing to fight.
