I stood there, on my post, sighing deeply thinking about the times when my sister and I would play. We would become anything what we wanted too. I was the scared-cat and she was the adventurous one. That's why I always wanted to pretend we were queens. But she would never play as enthusiastically as me; she would sigh, and look at the forest. Every time it was her turn, she would say, "Let's be forest cats Sugar!" I would always sake my head no, and she would droop er head, and say, "Let's be princesses." I was smaller then, and I never knew how much she disliked it. Until one day.

"Spice! You can't go into the forest! It's really dangerous!"

"I know, but it's better than being stuck in this boring place anyways!" she had retorted back. I was surprised. Spice was never this mean. She sighed. "I'm sorry, but the forest is calling me!" she told me she would visit me, and with that, I agreed. I waited for a very long time, until I saw her familiar pelt, her white and grey pelt.

"Spice!" I shouted gleefully. Spice ignored me. What's wrong with her? I asked myself. I waited, and she finally turned around.

"My name isn't Spice. It's Spiceshadow. I'm a warrior you know." She said proudly. I couldn't help but smile.

"Congratulations' Spiceshadow." I said nuzzling her pelt. "So….your a warrior huh? So mom's stories were really true?"

Spiceshadows' gaze dropped. "Yeah…" she murmured. I knew better. I stared at her until she told me. "Fine. Our leader, Echostar wants to know if I'm loyal." I drew back in terror.

"Of course you are! You know you are!"

She nodded glumly. "Echostar just wants to make sure. She's going to put me in a battle!" she moaned. "I might get killed!" she screeched.

I nuzzled her pelt comfortly. "It's okay. Your going to be just right." Soon it time for her to leave. She told she would visit sometime later. "Have a safe battle!" I yowled to her. She nodded and padded away. Little did I know, it was the last time I would ever see her alive.

Yesterday, that brought Spiceshadow home. I recognized one from Spice's stories. Echostar and Brairsong. Their faces looked grave. I rushed up to them. "Where is my sister?" Brairsong growled back, and I shrunk back.

"Your sister died." Echostar said. I gasped and doubled over onto the ground from shock.

I managed a few words out, "You planned it didn't you. You couldn't not accept, so you planned the attack to kill Spice is that right?" she yowled.

Echostar smirked. "You'll see you're sister soon." And I blacked out.

I think the ending was quite scary. Review please!
