Sleeping Beauty
Kim lay sleeping in the bed, after falling asleep while waiting for Jared to come home from patrol. She curled up in her sleep, dreaming happily of Jared holding her in his arm, muscular arms.
Jared opened their bedroom door silently and smiled as he saw his wife sleep peacefully in their bed.
He climbed in next to her and automatically pulled her into his arms, wanting her close. He rand his fingers through her hair and pressed his burning lips to her cool forehead. Her eyes opened sleepily and she smiled when she saw him.
"Jared?" she whispered.
"Yep, it's me baby. Go back to sleep," he whispered back and smiled as she snuggled closer.
"Ok babe, I love you," she muttered before closing her eyes and falling back to sleep. Jared smiled.
"I love you too," he told her. He kissed her forehead again. She was tired and his sleeping beauty needed her sleep.
