"HOLY SHIT!" was the first thing Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni Soutaicho heard upon waking up.

(Soutaicho's POV)

'The hell? Was that Ichigo? I should really go see if everything's alright… but, if I do that, I'll miss my beard-grooming appointment with Matsumoto Fukutaicho… hmm… I guess he's on his own, I cannot miss getting my beard done.' I thought as I walked over to my closet in my chappy the rabbit feet pyjama's and sleeping hat.

(Byakuya's POV, half an hour earlier)

I was walking by the eighth division's Captain's office, when I heard male voices inside.

Since it's a well known fact that Shunsui Taicho rarely works, I found this intriguing.

I stopped and focused on the voices, only to hear Kyoraku Shunsui Taicho of squad eight and Ukitaki Jushiro of squad thirteen…

(Regular POV, with Kyoraku and Ukitaki)

"So, Juu, did you hear?" Kyoraku asked.

"Hear what?" Ukitaki questioned.

"That Ichigo and Rukia are dating. According to Matsumoto, they have been for the past few months." Kyoraku answered.

"Well, good for them. I was wondering when they'd get together." Ukitaki replied with a smile.

(With Byakuya)

Outside the eighth division's Captain's office, the sixth division's Taicho's normally stoic demeanor was now non-existent.

The shock wore off after a few frozen minutes and was quickly replaced with murderous intent for the one and only substitute soul reaper.

Almost immediately, the Kuchiki Lord was racing towards the orange-haired Kurosaki's untamed reiatsu.

(With Ichigo)

Ichigo was sitting with Rukia and Renji in the sixth division's Fukutaicho's office, when the door suddenly slammed open.

Standing there in the doorway was the famed Kuchiki Byakuya Taicho with an aura so murderous, the plant by the door had shrivelled up and died.

The trio turned wide-eyed toward said Taicho just in time to hear, "Scatter, Senbonzakura." And see cherry blossom petals fly towards Ichigo.

"HOLY SHIT!"

(Present time)

"HOLY SHIT!" Ichigo yelled, while dodging the on-slot of cherry blossom petals.

"Onii-sama, what are you doing?" Rukia exclaimed in question.

"What's wrong, Taicho?" Renji asked in panic.

But all inquires were ignored by the renowned Kuchiki Lord as he said, "Bankai, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi.", activating his feared Bankai.

Before Ichigo had a chance to react, he was pumbled by cherry blossom petals and knocked out with multiple cuts and bruises.

Normally, it'd take a hell of a lot more then that to knock the Kurosaki out, but he really just wasn't prepared nor did he expect this from the usually stoic Taicho.

"That's what you get for dating my sister without my permission." Byakuya grunted as he sheathed his zanpakuto and walked off, leaving a stunned Rukia and Renji in his wake.

Just as Rukia and Renji were helping Ichigo up as he started to regain consciousness, Kenpachi arrived with Yachiru on his back.

When they saw the bloodied and barely conscience Ichigo, Yachiru pouted, saying, "Aww, Kenny missed all the fun!"

The eleventh Taicho walked off, muttering about how he needed to stop relying on Yachiru's crappy sense of direction or get her a GPS for her birthday so he'd stop missing all the fights, leaving the previously mentioned trio to sweat drop after them.
