"Ninjas!"
"Pirates!"
"Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad!" Kurt huffed, walking ahead of him.
Adam rolled his eyes and chased after him. "I feel bad whenever you're angry," he cooed, wrapping an arm around the younger male. Kurt shrugged off the arm and shook his head. "Don't you try to sweet talk me, Crawford," he warned, narrowing his eyes and starting to walk ahead of him again.
The argument had started that morning. Kurt had been Skyping with Finn the night before, who had told him about wanting to take up Martial Arts. Being the concerned brother he was, Kurt was wary about his clumsy brother doing something so dangerous, but who was he to crush his dreams? Besides, he seemed so eager and it would hurt him too much to wipe the grin off his face.
So on that morning, Kurt had mentioned it in casual passing to Adam, making a joking about his brother being the world's tallest ninja. "Doesn't matter, he'd still get his ass whooped by a pirate any day," he replied, pouring himself a cup of tea. The brunette laughed, assuming he was joking. When the Brit wasn't laughing as well, Kurt tilted his head.
"Surely you're joking," he sipped from his coffee mug.
"I would never joke about something so serious – and don't call me Shirley," that earned Adam a dishcloth being thrown at his head.
"You're ridiculous…and also wrong. A ninja would beat a pirate any day," Kurt stated, putting the now empty mug in the sink. He took the dishcloth still on Adam's head and used it to clean it off.
"Kurtsie, you silly little lamb," Adam replied, wrapping his arms around Kurt from behind. The smaller of the two broke from the grip and walked away.
"Oh no, you don't get to touch me until you admit you're wrong," Kurt gave him an ultimatum. He knew that Adam had the habit of being touchy feely (five hugs and ten kisses before Kurt went to class, fixing his hair, smoothing out his clothes, if the two were in the same room, Adam's hands ended up on Kurt), so he thought that would cause him to cave.
"I was single for eighteen months before I met you, I can hold off," Adam replied. "Besides, I'm still not wrong," he added.
The debate continued on throughout the day. Kurt would send Adam random ninja facts and Adam would reply with a list of accomplishments from famous pirates. Soon enough, their friends and classmates were picking sides (Brody and Quinn were on team ninja while Rachel and Santana were on team pirate).
Finally, over dinner, Adam came up with an idea that would (hopefully) end the debacle. "What if a ninja and a pirate had a baby and was raised with both cultures?" he asked.
Kurt thought about it, chewing his food slowly as he mulled over the suggestion. "I think that baby would take over the world," he said with a chuckle.
"So can we stop fighting and just appreciate the epicness that would be a ninja-pirate baby?" Adam asked hopefully, standing up and clearing the now empty plates. Kurt went up behind him and wrapped his arms around his waist.
"I think that sounds fair enough," he said, placing a kiss to the shell of his ear. Then he let go and started to walk away, turning back to face him. "Are you coming?" he asked.
"What are we doing?" Adam asked in reply.
"Making a ninja-pirate baby," Kurt giggled and darted into the bedroom.
