Megamind hates the way he looks: his too small body, his giant blue head, his blue skin (why? Why blue?) and purple ears." A very short one short I wrote a year and a half ago that I now feel brave enough to publish.

Megamind hates the way he looks: his too small body, his giant blue head, his blue skin (why? Why blue?) and purple ears.

His body is riddled with scars from previous encounters with Metro Man/Wayne, and most recently Tighten/Hal, which just adds to the fact that he hates how he looks.

He uses his hologram watch to look human. To be human.

At least Minion looks like he could be from Earth, Megamind often finds himself bitterly thinking as he uses the hologram watch to change into Bernard.

Always Bernard. Because as Bernard, he's untouchable. He can't be hurt in the same way he was as himself. He's safe as Bernard.

But, at the end of the day, when the watch is removed, his only enemy is his reflection. His damned mirror image. Reminding him that he isn't human. That no matter how long he keeps his watch on, the illusion going, that he hates himself.
