Just a fun little idea I had. Probably been done before but oh well. It was fun to write.
I have a few other ideas so I might start a series of oneshots for this family.

It was never really something they discussed. It was like an unspoken agreement between the two. After all they both wanted the same thing, so why even bother with words? They weren't going to let anyone talk them out of it either. Many had tried, saying it would be too difficult or too much of a strain on their relationship. But they stood strong for what they truly wanted, what they knew they deserved just as much as any other couple. A family of their own.
It all started with three year old Stark. Unlike most children his age, Stark was very calm. He liked to entertain himself by doing quiet things like drawing, looking at pictures books or taking a nap on the sofa. The perfect little boy for the first time parents.
It wasn't until seven years later that the couple were able to adopt their second child. It was another boy. Five year old Grimmjow.
Sousuke was a little uneasy about adopting a five year old, especially one as rowdy as Grimmjow and needed some convincing. But after they were told about his home life before going to live at the orphanage Gin gave him the kind of look that meant he didn't have a choice, that child was going home with them.
Two year old Luppi came next.
With their two boys now 13 and 8 years old, the couple thought that their kindergarten days were well and truly over. But a surprise phone call from the adoption agency soon proved them wrong and their family of four became a family of five.
That same year they were contacted by their friend Tousen. His niece had become pregnant and she had decided not to keep the child. However, she didn't want to just hand over her baby to complete strangers. Tousen had immediately thought of his two good friends.
The couple were thrilled by the prospect of another addition to their ever growing family and asked Tousen to organise a meeting with the girl as soon as possible. It wasn't long before little Wonderweiss joined the family.
Although he loved his four boys with all his heart, Gin longed for a daughter, but it took eight years of convincing until Sousuke agreed. It wasn't long after that and they were signing the papers to bring home eight year old twins, Loly and Menoly.
The adoption of one year old Nel had been a complete misunderstanding. Sousuke and Gin had thought that their application for for the adoption agency had been thrown away the year after they brought the twins home. But somehow Nel's temporary caregivers had found it and after checking their adoption history, the toddler had become a part of the couple's life before they had time to sort out the spare room.
She was noisy, messy and rivaled Grimmjow in destructive capability. But within the first week she had already settled in and everyone had fallen in love with her.

Sousuke and Gin were taking advantage of a rare moment of peace and quiet. They weren't quite sure why it was so peaceful but decided not to question it and were cuddled together on the sofa, each enjoying the company of the other.
Gin turned towards his husband, "Did you ever imagine us the way we are now? With our family?"
"Why, not having regrets are we?"
"No nothing like that. It's just...do you thing we're crazy for doing what we did?"
"I'm sure we are. In fact I'm positive."
"Yea" Gin leaned to kiss Sousuke's cheek, "I think so too."
