Bella watched in fascination as the force of the beater's bat launched a bludger towards a rival player. The victim attempted to dart to the side but, before he could, it slammed into his side and he hurtled to the ground.
Fans cried out in outrage at the Slytherin beater, but Bella was not among them. Instead she smiled to herself, focusing on the lively twinkle in his blue eyes and the muscular arms that had done the damage.
For months Rodolphus had attempted to earn her affections, however only now did she want to pull him into an embrace.
