I am making two stories with class 1A battling each other. This one will be half of the class vs the other class. The next one will be a 5v5v5v5. So there will be another Author's Note at the bottom so keep reading to see what is at the bottom.
Class 1A was ready for another day of learning and continuing to grow as heroes. They have learned a lot over the course of the school years. Yet they haven't got too many times to demonstrate what they learned. Aizawa noticed that the students got into a more repetitive act of learning and training. So he decided to spruce up their day and do something more interesting to see their growth.
The class walked in and sat in their according seats. Aizawa shows up on time with his bland expression. "Good morning class." "Good morning Aizawa-sensei." The students replied. The student expected to go back to learn frivolous information. Students like Yayarozu and Midoriya thought that learning stuff like this was important to help them. Other students like, Ashido and Bakugo thought learning this kind of information was completely pointless as they won't need this kind of information to use in their day to day life. The students did get a pleasant surprise with what they were going to do.
"I know you all have been getting use to the same cycle of learning and training since the Joint Training with Class 1B. So since it is Thursday and tomorrow is Friday I think you all should get a chance to play capture the flag." This excited all the students. Even the more serious characters like Todoroki and Tokoyami shown signs of excitement. "Now the rules are that each team will consist of 10 members per team. Your job is to capture the other team's flag and bring it back to your flag. Now as of captains it is completely auto generated so I won't be picking the teams. However, to be nice you can swap 2 members of your team without the other team's consent. Any other trades has to be consensual with both teams. There will be pro heroes watching the event unfold for future recommendations and scouting for agencies. The teams will be named after planets just because I can. Also you will all have communication devices to communicate with each other as you play. At the end there will be a mini award ceremony to award specific students on most valuable and things of that nature." Aizawa explained.
The students were excited as ever to play a game of capture the flag. "Okay the teams are going to be displayed on the screen behind me. But the captains will be displayed first." Aizawa pointed at the screen. All twenty students' pictures showed up on the screen and there was 2 green highlights were scrolling around the students until it landed on two students.
Captains: Momo Yayarozu and Izuku Midoriya
"The captains have been decided. Now as for the teams it will put them accordingly." Midoriya was a bit scared to be a captain. He did have the confidence but that was partially shattered by the fact he was competing with the smartest girl in class. "Okay don't sweat it, I just have to think of who will be a good addition to the team." Midoriya thought. Yayarozu was having a similar crisis. "I am going up against the guy who is an expert quirk analysis. I have to think much more about who I get and who I need. Those two trades are going to need to be useful.
"Okay Captains walk up to the front of the class. Midoriya your Team Mercury and Yayarozu your team Venus." Aizawa said. Both of them walked up to the front. Yayarozu showed confidence to make her seem less nervous than she already was. Midoriya was shaking a bit but tried to keep his composure. "Okay here are your teams."

Everyone evaluated who either was their team or their teammates were. "Okay, now Yayarozu you can trade for 2 members of Midoriya's team make it count." Aizawa sat down in his chair to see the events unfold. "Okay if we are going to play this we need to do this right. Who do I not need compared to who is going to be helpful." Yayarozu thought. "Wait what kind of arena is this?" Yayarozu asked. "It is a forest arena with small amounts of wildlife." Aizawa inputted. "Okay so Koda will be useful. I guess I don't need Jiro since I would have Koda. And Aoyama can be considered a liability if his stomach collapse in the middle of a fight. So I don't need those two. So who do I want from Midoriya. I think I will take Bakugo and Tokoyami. Tokoyami can fly therefore he would be useful to gather Intel and his strength is very good as it is a forest based arena. Bakugo will just be a good head on fighter. Hope he manages to cooperate with me." Yayarozu finished her thought process after about half a minute. "Okay I know who I am going to trade for." Yayarozu announced. "I am going to take Tokoyami and Bakugo." This shocked a few students considering Bakugo's brash attitude. Bakugo couldn't care less he didn't want to be team up with Midoriya. "Good now I can destroy that nerd." Bakugo smiled. "In exchange for Jiro and Aoyama." Yayarozu looked down hoping not to offend anyone. Aoyama looked hurt from the rejection. Jiro didn't really care much since she figured she wouldn't be much on her team.
Now it was Midoriya's turn. "Okay I need to be smart about this. She took Tokoyami and Bakugo so I need another light user to diminish Tokoyami's effectiveness. I am defiantly getting rid of Mineta or would he be useful? I mean his purple balls can stick opponents to the ground. Play strategically and we can over take them. So I am keeping Mineta but that means Sero needs to go. I'll take Todoroki his fire and ice will be very effective in battle. So Sero for Todoroki. Now who else would be very effective? Shoji would be a good protector of the flag but we would need another powerhouse to protect it. Ojiro is good in hand to hand combat so he could be of use. Kaminari's electricity is a liability on us so I will take Ojiro for Kaminari." Midoriya didn't realize he was muttering silently. The class was staring at him. This intimidated some of the students as it means he has thought long and hard of who is taking with him.
"Okay I am taking Ojiro and Todoroki." Todoroki was happy to team up with Midoriya as he wasn't looking forward to teaming up with Bakugo. As for Ojiro, it was a bit of a shock to him and the rest of the class. "Now I am giving up Kaminari and Sero." Midoriya stood proud by his decision. The class was in complete shock that Mineta was still on Midoriya's team. "How is Mineta still on your team but you get rid of me!?" Kaminari complained. "I thought about it and Mineta's quirk is pretty useful if used properly." Mineta felt happy that someone saw his potential.
"I see what he did. I took two powerhouses from him so he takes a powerhouse from me. Also he kept Mineta as he could capture people. Ojiro is a bit of a grey area. Wonder why he took him?" Yayarozu thought. "Okay you all can plan for the remainder of the day and until the match tomorrow at 10.

The students went to planning immediately. They planned until it was time for them to sleep. They woke up and the next day. They were put into the facility where they will be playing. Each team was on the opposite side of the large forest. They were permitted to use any gear that they want along with their hero costumes.
The students saw a lot of pro heroes coming to see them play a game. "Wow these are a lot of pro heroes. Hope I don't embarrass myself." Midoriya thought. He hoped their plan was full proof. Yayarozu also felt good about her plan.
Here is their plan.
Team Mercury
They split off into two teams the protectors, assailants, and the assaults. The protector's job is to protect the flag from anyone who comes towards it. This team consist of Sato, Ojiro, Shoji, Aoyama, and Jiro. Jiro is on the team because her ear jacks can hear incoming enemies/opponents. Aoyama is there because his stomach can collapse when he overuses his quirk so it would be better for him to be in a static position. Sato is there because his quirk is limited to a short amount of time. Shoji is the leader since his quirk has no real limitations and has good combat abilities along with Ojiro. The second team are the assailants. This team only consist of two members Asui and Mineta. Their job is to attempt to stop and capture anyone they come in their general direction. Asui is on the team because her quirk is good for quick movement and her tongue can grab people and stop Mineta from doing anything stupid. Mineta is on that team because his pop-off thingies can stop people from moving and keep them from progressing. Finally, the assaults are the remaining members of the team. Midoriya, Ashido, and Todoroki's job is to go after the flag head on. Ashido was in that position since she refused to be on a team with Mineta and didn't want to stay in one spot. Midoriya and Todoroki are there on obvious reasons. The plan when they get the flag is to give it to either Todoroki or Ashido because they both are pretty fast on their feet. The assailants are to protect the flag keeper until they get back to the base while the rest of the assault group holds back the opposing team. That is the Mercury plan.
Team Venus
This team's plan was a bit similar to the Mercury Plan but it had a few different things. There were 4 teams. The Skies, The Aka, The Proctors, and The Scouters. The Skies consist of Hagakure and Tokoyami. Since Tokoyami can fly with Dark Shadow he can get a top scale view of the arena and Hagakure is there as well. The Aka is the attacking squad. Bakugo, Iida, and Kirishima all are to attack for the flag. The Proctors are the ones protecting the flag. This team consist of Koda, Kaminari, Yayarozu, and Uraraka. They are to protect the flag from foreign fighters. Finally the Scouters, this team is a combination of a few other members from other teams. This team consist of Sero, Tokoyami, Hagakure, and Koda. They are to attempt to find opponents and report where they are and attack to incapacitate them. Now the plan is that the Aka goes in and takes the flag. They give the flag it Iida who will run back to the base. Now in the event that they get held back by the opponents. Tokoyami and Hagakure's job is to use the sky to their advantage. Tokoyami drops Hagakure and let her sneak grab the flag. Tokoyami then grabs her and they leave. Now if they get incapacitated, Sero's job as a solo unit is to attempt to tape up some of the protectors of the opposing flag. Now these plans are implemented on who gets to the flags first. If Aka gets it first the Skies and Scouters are to tell them of any possible enemies that could impede their path. If the Skies get to it first and manage to successfully get out. Aka needs to go and stop Todoroki and Midoriya since they can stop Tokoyami from progressing. If Sero manages to stop their protectors and grab the flag, everyone must locate and protect Sero. The only ones who stay behind is Yayarozu and Koda. Koda will use his insects to locate any enemies in close locations. Now there is a protocol for the Skies. If Tokoyami is compromised and can't continue with Hagakure, if they don't have the flag lose them in the trees and surprise attack them since Dark Shadow will be stronger in all the shade and Hagakure can get the jump on them. If they do have the flag Tokoyami is to drop the flag with Hagakure on it and make it seem like he just dropped the flag and go down and hide in the trees and either join Sero or locate Hagakure. Sero needs to be in contact at all times.
They were required to write their plan and give it to Aizawa and let all the pro heroes see it. The pro heroes were very impressed with how many fail safes Team Venus has. Team Mercury had a pretty good plan too. This let some of the pro heroes betting on certain teams. Even Aizawa joined in on the gambling.
"Okay Team Venus are you ready!" An announcer yelled. They could yell back so they pressed a button to signify they are ready. "Team Mercury are you ready?" Team Mercury pressed the button signifying they are ready. "Okay let the games begin!" With that the students were off to win.
